So, there’s a post circulating telling you it is a service that can figure out your Meyers-Briggs personality type based on your blog. Do not even click the link or reblog the post, it will give whatever is behind this post access to your account.

It can potentially give your tumblr account or computer a virus, I’m not sure of specifics but it could be bad. It won’t have immediate effects, but the application now has access to your tumblr account and there will be negative complications in the future.

If you’ve reblogged the post or clicked the link you can fix it. 

Deleting the post isn’t enough. 

1. Change your password. This can never hurt.

2. Go into your account settings (https://www.tumblr.com/settings/account)

3. You will see this

Click the small underlined words that say “learn more”

4. Under “basics” in your account security page, you will see the following bullet point:

Click the link (the underlined words that say “revoke that access”)

5. You will be taken to a page called “apps” showing things that are connected to your tumblr account. 

Scroll down to the subheading titled “other apps”.

Under there there should be an application called “Personality Test”. This is the potential virus causing application. Click the gray x to remove it from having access to your account.
